In this episode, I interview music artist Reagan Capaci who shares her Christian testimony. 

Reagan Capaci (Pronounced Kuh-pay-see) was born in Hot Spring, Arkansas, and later ended up living in Las Vegas.

She grew up as a pastor’s kid and she shares with us how her family moved a lot when she was young as they dealt with a toxic and strict cult of a religion seeking a way out. 

In her sophomore year of High School, her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to escape the church they were tied to.

Reagan recalls how she, “Truly fell in love with music after taking a local jazz class [at her performing arts] high school.”

Still discovering who Christ was, “she was grateful that someone helped her to see what was right and what was true and not judge her”, speaking of her mentor Adam Thompson (CEO of Collision Records).

In the music industry when you label your music or “when you say Christian, people immediately stop listening to you”, so Reagan shares this perception we have when it comes to artists being put in a box and how this shapes how people view your music.

She considers herself a Christian music artist as “she is a Christian and God has given her this talent and this ability to spread.”

Later, she developed a passion for helping at-risk youth mentoring those in Juvenile detention centers, helping refugees, and foster kids.
