Christian Pop Artist SVRCINA Relies On God’s Timeline Leading To Music Success
Gaelika Brown
In this episode I interview Christian pop artist SVRCINA (pronounced Sur-Cee-Nah) who shares her Christian testimony.
Her humble beginnings in Christian music started at a very young age and she embraced this alongside her mother and father who were active musicians in their church.
Being raised in the church and being an active member was a part of their family culture.
And her parents made it a point for her and her brother to create a personal relationship with God.
At the age of 13 years old she started creating Christian country music and was discovered by a music publisher from Nashville where she signed a deal and took on a Artist Development role traveling and writing music.
One of SVRCINA’s key advice is that “your relationship with the Lord '', can be served anytime or anywhere and should not be mechanical or routine to the point that you shame yourself for not praising him the same way every time.
“To be a participant with the Lord’s” timeline of when things should come into fruition, one must “surrender even our own creativity with his timeline”.
Along her musical journey, SVRCINA talks about her feature with rapper Hulvey and Grammy award winning rapper Lecrae on “Reasons”, major sync-licensing placements she has had, and the fall release of her up-coming album “Orchards”.
This Christian pop artist brought so much value to the table in this episode that you can’t help but be inspired and moved by her testimony.
